Tonight I finally received my Internet. I've been looking forward to it for quite some time and apparently it's been rather reluctant to make it's way to my home, but it is now here. Quite simply put, I'm really not in the mood to post anything grandiose. I do not plan to write any long and eloquent post. I plan to post many photos and short explanations. This is primarily due to a series of stress sources and irritations I've recently had tossed onto my overburdened shoulders. So I expect all of you to enjoy this post, say wonderful things about it, comment with positive messages and keep any negative comments/thoughts to yourself because I will not react or respond to them in a favorable light/fashion. Thank you.
Beginning of the First Day in Japan
Train Station while En Route to Matsumoto
My Room
The Taimatsu Matsuri. (Three of the greatest girls in Japan [who would kill me if they knew I posted this photo]) Sam and I doing our part.
Exploring Matsumoto. Mountains close to our home.
That's all I feel like doing for today. I'll add more tomorrow if I feel up for it. If not, it will be shortly thereafter.

Yay!! I was so super-excited to see that you updated!! I know how you feel when you just don't feel up to writing much. I really appreciated the pictures, though!! Is it just you in your room?? (it looked like it) Yay for the internet!! That's great. Now you can feel a bit more "connected". Sorry that it was such a looong process. The bon fire looked amazing! That's awesome you got to participate. You looked like you were having a great time. Who were the American girls?? I loved the pictures from the mountian. They were amazing. I esp. loved the pic. with the tree and the view. Beautiful.
I love you lots and lots and think about you everyday. When you get the chance I'd love another email. It makes my day. :) I love you!!
Beautiful pictures Jess. Is there a connection to this local holiday, with the larger one in the fall (end Sept early Oct) with cleaning the graves of the ancestors, etc?
The room looks very nice for a dormroom and private. Way better than I envisioned!
I will show the pictures to mom asap.
We love you very much!
yay! yay! for a new post! I miss you loads and love you even more than that! Those mountain pics are just amazing! If you have a minute, I vote you post and explain the bonfire holiday. It looks like a lot of fun and very interesting. Thanks for posting, any little connection across the world is a good one :)
